The sun streams in through the windows. Warmth. It's been so cold. The wind; relentless. Sunshine, scarce. I chase the sun through the rooms, as the afternoon gives way to evening. The house echos without her presence. There is something so desperately missing. The kids say it on the way in. "I miss Nana greeting us at the door, Abbey too."
