Join us for the ETD Memorial Fundraiser 2018!

What: Fundraiser to benefit the Elijah Todd Davis Memorial Fund. Join us back at the farm after the Leatherneck Scramble for an evening of music, friends, and a pig roast! Bring a dish to share and your own beverages. All proceeds benefit the Elijah Todd Davis Memorial Fund.
When: The 2020 dates will be announced after the first of the year!

About Elijah

Elijah Todd Davis, 17, unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord and Savior early Sunday morning July 28, 2013. Born on September 2, 1995, Elijah was a strong and loving young man. He was a gifted musician and played in the High School band. He was passionate about life and all he did. Being in top shape was important to Elijah. He played Lacrosse and wrestled for two years. He was proud to have enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was scheduled to head to boot camp, at Parris Island on September 2, his 18th birthday.

The Elijah Todd Davis Memorial Fund was established to honor the memory of our 17 year old. Elijah loved life and had many hopes and dreams for his future. We want to honor his memory by helping others to seek their dreams, better our community and give hope. So far we have been able to provide a Scholarship in Elijah’s memory each year at the Mount Mansfield Union High School’s Senior awards night. This scholarship is give to a young man or woman displaying academic, athletic and musical abilities. We have also been able to provide a donation to the Brown’s River Middle School to replace the stage curtains. Each year a Fundraising event is held on the farm. Our oldest daughter has begun the ETD Leatherneck Scramble. This is a 5k race meandering through the rolling hills of our farm. A bale climb, tire steps and mud are just some of the obstacles creating a fun event for all! Then we fling open the doors of our farm and welcome all back to the farm for an evening of music and dining. We provide a pig roast and ask folks to bring along their favorite side dish, chair or blanket and beverage. Elijah loved being physically fit, eating and music! This is our way of honoring his memory and having fun! There is a registration fee for the 5k run – Click here to register. Tickets for the evening event are free. Donations accepted at the door.
