Posts.
So negative.
So mean.
Vindictive.
Not a trace of a desire to discuss.
Shouts.
Loud expressions of self.
Face book.
A platform.
To speak.
Unedited.
Uncensored.
Why?
Life is changed, when you go.
Matthew 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
When you teach.
When you Love.
There is One King and LORD.
He knows all of the answers.
He even knows the questions.
He came.
Humble.
In submission.
Like a lamb led to the slaughter.
For us.
Isaiah 53:7
He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
The cross His symbol.
His blood shed.
So that others may live.
For eternity.
In a sea of negativity;
I choose to listen.
I choose to believe.
To learn.
To listen.
To hear.
I desire to be obedient.
To pour out myself, so Christ can pour in.
If I am so consumed with what I want.
I won’t hear the cries of those around me.
If I fill the silence with words.
The stillness can not speak.
Psalm 46:10
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
When we pray, we are able to hear the sound of His voice.
Gentle whisper.
He will lead His people.
So, we go.
To our neighbor.
To our friends.
With open arms.
Serving.
Listening.
Doing.
Obeying.
It’s not about me.
I want my life to reflect that of Christ.
His gift of Life.
I am a sinner.
In desperate need of a Savior.
While the negative comments swirl.
I will pray.
Seek wisdom.
Walk in grace.
We will continue to open the doors to this farm house.
We will sit around the farmhouse table drinking coffee; longing to hear each other.
(we can have tea, wine or milk too!)
We will step out in faith to help one another.
