The things of this earth didn’t matter to you.
You were just beginning the journey.
You were meant for heaven.
You were busy living when you were called home.
Your future looming.
And a harvest of righteousness here on this earth.
You weren’t perfect and your, walk often a struggle.
Yet, the fruit you have left in your death is a beautiful thing.
I long to know what to learn from this.
Is it God’s kingdom I long for?
Or am I too settled here on this earth.
My son dances on the streets of Gold,
He is where we long to be.
How will this affect how I live today?
What do I count as value?
Do our lives reflect what is important to us? Or what is important to God.
Because these are important questions.
What we spend our time with and put our energy into, is what we deem important.
As I take my grief and persevere through, these are the things I ponder.
These are the lessons I do not want to miss.
So, while my heart may ache and I stumble through this life.
I want to make it count for what really matters.
Matthew 6:19-21
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Good Morning, dear Tammy! Thank you for yet another heartfelt word of encouragement, that though born of pain, yet faith, hope, and love remain. And just the right dose of humor as well (Cootie Boy?…oh, my!) I have always admired Farming Families…takes such Faith…hard work on a good day…keeping on keeping on. Oh, what a Blessing are your thoughts shared with us…all the good you do may not ever be fully known this side of Heaven, but you do it for Him…and it shows. Beautifully. Have a lovely, Blessed day, dear 'friend I've not yet met'. Love & Prayers to you all…With gratitude, Marguerite
