Her son torn from this life at 18.
Never to see 19.
Two young men called home long before our hearts are ready to let go.
He and Elijah now know each other. Each known by the Savior.
Each missed so deeply.
This mom grieves as I do.
Now friends through a shared bond of grief and love for Jesus.
Each of us experiencing the extravagant grace of God.
Each of us experiencing the agony of loss.
Today our sons rejoice in the Presence of the Almighty.
Their birthdays complete.
Their bodies whole and glorified.
It is those of us left behind that grieve.
But we do not grieve without a hope.
I Thessalonians 4:13
Brothers and sisters,
we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death,
so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.
We have hope in a Savior. We have hope for Eternal Life.
We will be reunited.
Until that day we will remember that:
Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Happy Birthday Christiano.
You are missed.
We will carry on until the Lord calls us home.
I bet this party will be the best you’ve ever had.
Eternity with yours sons will be glorious. I know they're saving a place for you both.
