We find ourselves once again at the end of the year.
November.
A month to reflect.
For the last 10 years or more November has been a month to be intentional about naming the gratitude and thanking God for all.
Not just the good but all things that have passed through his hand.
I don’t know what season you find yourself in. . .
But I find myself in a season of huge change.
Kids getting married and leaving the home.
Babies being born and my babies all grown up.
My role as a mama has changed.
Gone are the days of schedules and driving to and from events.
There is an occasional activity I may attend.
But that sweet season has passed.
While I mourn sometimes for those days to return,
I am also excited for all this season brings!
Watching your children spread their wings and create a home and a family is such a joy!
How these once tiny humans are now working and establishing their own path fills my heart to overflowing.
I rest in that space.
I count the joy.
I name the gratitude.
Will you join us this month in naming the gratitude.
Not just for the things that are good.
But for the struggle.
30 Days of Thankfulness
I am thankful for:
The pad that was poured for our daughter’s new home
For our son who has managed all the work for that
the struggle to get to this point for all of them
new babies and weddings
no heat
the parts that have been ordered so we are able to have heat soon
A crowded table
31 years of marriage
this platform to share our little corner of the world
cousins who say yes to a spontaneous visit
the practice of gratitude which has changed me over the years
We hope you will join us in this journey.
