It’s begun.
Even though it has been so hot.
Colors beginning to show.
Change.
A word that is hard for me.
For so many.
The bright hues begin to emerge.
A glimpse here and there.
Reminding us.
Summer won’t last forever.
We’ve had heat over the past few weeks.
Unseasonable for this time of year.
Or for the length.
It makes work hard.
Pushing through.
Keeping the cows cool.
Careful to not dry the hay too much.
It’s all seems unnatural.
Yet so right.
Fall beckons the senses to life.
An endless array of Fairs, baking, warm drinks.
Walks.
Foliage.
Beauty.
Here among the Green Mountains a transformation takes place.
Green gives way to heady hues of red and yellow.
Causing the landscape to glow.
Breathtaking.
Long drives in silence.
Weaving through those less traveled roads.
Vermont comes alive in these next few months.
We welcome you to come away with us.
Rest.
Rejuvenate.
Our Davis Farm Guest House is almost a year.
Putting Feet on our dream has led us down a fun path.
As Fall gives way to Winter.
Once again those Green Mountains will change.
Psalm 72:3
The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
White will envelope the stark landscape left by the glorious fading colors.
To a crackling fire.
To sip a warm drink.
Take in the area’s sights and activites.
You won’t be disappointed.
You will arrive as strangers and leave as family.
