I thought it would stop. All the negativity. It hasn't. The name calling; by the very people who wish to not be called names. I don't, and can't understand the mentality. We are more than this. My parents taught me, "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it at all." That practice seems to be only pertinent when your candidate wins office. I long for unity. Election Day! Day #8 of Thankfulness
Here it is Election Day! A day that used be somewhat exciting and patriotic. A day when my heart swelled with gratitude for the exercise of freedom in this great United States. I woke last night. Yes, just after my last post about not having trouble sleeping. I woke. And could not fall back to sleep. I realized it was the election on my heart. So I prayed for this great Nation.
